They left behind great feats of engineering, roads, bridges, aqueducts, monuments, temples, luxurious villas and amphitheatres. This illustrated presentation describes the interesting archaeological sites that can be seen today, explains why they are important and also provides tips on what else you can see and do in Spain during your travels.
David Morgan has been teaching at WEA since 2021.
David has travelled extensively in Spain and Italy, researching ancient sites related to the Roman Empire. He has conducted comprehensive research of academic books and literature specifically pertaining to ancient Spain and its Roman Era.
David has published a travel guide about Roman and pre Roman sites in Spain. The book, “Discovering Roman Spain”, is available as an e-book from online book sellers. David has also developed a WEA armchair travel course based on the book.
David is also qualified as a workplace trainer and has conducted and written various workplace courses over the years.
