Learn the techniques and secrets that are the basis of one of the most widespread and, at the same time, complex culinary arts: Baking! You will learn hands-on how to make the perfect pizza dough in all of its aspects, from kneading to stretching to baking. Includes a delicious pizza lunch. Course is tailored for standard pizza making not GF. Tutor can explain how to make a GF pizza only. (Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access due to the age of the building).

Your Tutor is Paolo Rosina - Blue Velvet

Paolo has been with the WEA since 2023.

Paolo first arrived in Australia in 2006, moving to Adelaide in 2013 from Sydney. He is originally from Aprilia, a little town in Central Italy.

He commenced baking in 2012, learning from the Masters in Italy, undertaking specialised courses on various dough making techniques.

Paolo and his partner, Ilenia, opened their restaurant Blue Velvet in 2019.
