This course takes a seasonal approach, preparing students for the coming season's gardening tasks. The course will cover a range of practical tasks and underpinning knowledge timed to allow preparations for the next season. Winter is a time for pruning deciduous plants, maintaining tools, composting, bed preparation, fertilising, irrigation, mulching and other preparations for spring.
